We organize information into the four venues for Northeast fishery management:

  • Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC)
  • New England Fishery Management Council (NEFMC)
  • Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council (MAFMC)
  • Federal Fisheries: Congress, Secretary of Commerce, and NOAA Fisheries

The Fissues.org team includes, Captain Patrick Paquette of Massachusetts, Captain Dave Monti of Rhode Island, Captain John McMurray of New York, Charles Witek of New York and Tony Friedrich of Maryland. We provide real time insights and analyses on what’s happening to species you care about both on and off the water. Their years of experience with the fishery management process and, as straight up hard-core anglers, they understand how to communicate it to regular guys and gals.
